Excellent idea for those transitioning to the 170/190.

The flight director in the PFD display in these aircraft is quite different from what most are used to. These aircraft use both a dual cue and single cue flight director, depending on phase of flight.

A good instrument crosscheck that is based on raw data indications is a huge benefit in flying the 170/190 on instruments.
