A toll plaza had a huge line of cars. Finally reaching the booth, a frustrated motorist asked what was causing the delay. The toll collector said: "An hour ago, somebody dropped their money and had to pick it up." The driver then demanded to know how that could generate such a traffic backup. The collector replied: "Well, since it happened, everybody has stopped to ask what was causing the delay."
