Considering the flying public and not YOU are the lifeblood of the airline industry, you might want to actually give a crap about what they think. Whether the threat is real or perceived pax are leary of knives onboard since 9/11. Maybe if you pulled your heads out of butts and looked past your disdain for both FAs and the pax that are responsible for your paycheck you'd see it from THEIR point of view.

There is at least one on-line petition to the TSA to rescind it and I proudly signed it. My Congressman (who is a former Marine, btw) is also incredulous at TSA's short-sightedness and is actively seeking to get TSA to see the light.

Honestly, I have never seen a more myopic group of individuals in my life. It's sad to say the least. I wish the traveling public knew how you REALLY felt.
