Its starting to happen now, especially since the likes of Virgin are accepting guys with no 121 PIC time. Who cares how long the upgrade is at a regional if you don't even need it any more?

Its interesting to see how this will play out. The tables have sloped towards the senior regional captains for too long now, where some are earning 5 times more than their First Officer counterparts. We are about due for a shakeup.
Retention bonus is called, RAH gives you 5K and to come over and fly the E175 but with a 2 year contract, by then it will be hard for you to leave and start over again. There is your retention bonus
