Forgot to mention you have until you are 29 to join. Technically 32 but the odds are stacked after 29. Only something like 1 or 2% of applicants get in after 29. Maybe less now with the military winding down.
Also a great way to drop the pounds quick is to go on a Keto diet. Eat less than 25 net carbs a day. Green vegetables don't count against the carb count. In fact, fill at least half your plate with them at every meal. Broccoli and green beans are a great choice. Drink lots of water. Cut out sodas, including diet. Run a few times a week and you'll be down 20+lbs in a month.
