I've been to several WAI conferences, and the lines aren't terribly long. I've always had time to talk to whoever I wanted to, and I've always been able to chat with people at the Fedex, UPS, United, etc, booths even though I'm nowhere close to being qualified to work at those.

Also, there's always been quite a few guys there. I don't know about if I men have gotten interviews through the WAI conference, I would assume so. I do have a friend (male) that won a type rating scholarship at conference a couple years ago, so it isn't an exclusively all-women thing.
