The most senior involuntarily furloughed pilot at LUAL was hired in August '99 and has eight years of active service @ LUAL.
He/she was hired in '99, furloughed in '03, recalled in '05 and furloughed again in '09. Both LUAL and ALPA gave most of the '99 hires their 10-year wings prior to being shown the door in '09.
The CAL pilot hired in August 99 has almost 11 years of active service, furloughed in October 01 and recalled around January 05.
