They also were probably furloughed to ExpressJet and spent those 3 years, 4 months generating income for LCAL. But that time does not count toward longevity, or they'd have over 13 years of longevity.
OTOH, a LUAL pilot furlough has accrued longevity for all time furloughed, no matter where they were working.
And that is entirely the CAL pilot group's fault. Bravo for UAL getting this for the their pilots. It shouldn't, but I have to wonder if it can impact the SLI in any way.
