Unless you're buddy buddy with scheduling and they give you flying, but there is no rhyme or reason for who flies and who doesn't. It's merely at the company's discretion.

I have flown with many new hires in the past 6 months and asked where their total time was at. Answer: "Oh, like 700, but I'm going to fly 90 hours a month and be ok!"

Response: "Enjoy paying $7,500 for your contract when they fire you because you are no longer qualified to operate 121."

Answer:".....uh-oh"
6 months on reserve and counting for me.... But I do fly around 60 hours a month here in DEN. It seems like a lot of the reserves in DEN are getting around the same amount however I heard anywhere from 25-50 FOs won't make 1500 by August.
