I think this only confirms what many have long suspected. Between the announcement to defer some of the -800s to later years, followed closely by the DAL 717 deal and the decision to extend the life of many of the Classics, the fleet numbers never really added up. Though I'm sure this will be used by mgmt as a carrot during negotiations for our current Sect 6.

...and no, it probably won't produce any hiring in light of our current over staffing. It will just hopefully allay the fears of some around here that furloughs are imminent.
