Aaah the study buddy. That's a useful tool and its free so keep doing it.

I get tired of paper materials and the online stuff, so when I did my private some years ago I would get up before dawn and watch a couple hours of Sporty's Private Pilot dvds. They are a quality item and I learned a lot.

Your CFI should have you using a textbook like Jeppeson Private Pilot. Bear in mind you need a variety sources and if ASA is all you have, I think you need some more material. I like ASA and do use them, but I do not think they are as high quality as some others in terms of completeness, production, and appeal.

King stuff is good but a lot more expensive. I really like their commercial pilot dvd as it was the only dvd I could find showing how to actually fly comm. manuevers.

If you are into getting very high scores the Gleim testbank only costs $15 and has a lot of questions to try. I would save it to the end before taking the written as a final touches kind of thing. Good luck!
