Ouch! Flying those planes at those rates is an insult. Horizon pays $65 first-year pay for the Q400. I don't care if it's a prop or not, those Dash's take a helluva lot more piloting skill than any RJ out there. Take an RJ guy, put him back in a turbo-prop like this one, and it's learning to really "pilot a plane" all over again. These pay rates are absurd.....
Lets not get carried away the Q is in no way harder to fly than the Jet, its a turbo-prop, you can slow down quicker, descend quicker, its not a swept wing airplane, its not harder to fly than a jet
