The company knew DAL and UAL were going to pass TA's that were in keeping with a profitable period of time. They used this opportunity to give a 3% raise and redistribute healthcare costs. This is a bait and switch tactic, and saves them a ton of dough. Now, if they balk they will lose their "direct relationship" and abide by the CBA. This will be a rough patch, in fiscal and economic "good times", for the pilot group and the company. If the company was playing through and by the DR rules, this would be a two-way communication to achieving both sets of goals.

Now, please share what ur PVC buddies have passed down about the company being dishonest.
It's been bait and switch since the doors opened. Learn the history of JetBlue and you will see for yourself. What are these DR rules you speak of? Do you mean when the PVC makes recommendations based on polls and votes from the pilot group then the company chooses to ignore it? Are those the rules? There is nothing new in this email.
