Again, the lady I talked to was very nice, but I didn't learn anything new about Atlas that I didn't already know. I won't go so far as to say I got the cold shoulder, but I sure didn't get a warm fuzzy either.
Wait, I take that back! I did learn you can bid to break up your 17 days on, so for guys who were not interested in 17 straight days away from home, the recruiter told me you can bid to break it up. I'm sure some Atlas guys will pipe up here to say whether that's legit or not, but that's what she told me.
Either way, it's some varied and exciting flying, and sounds great!
Breaking up the 17-day schedules is a hit and miss proposition...seniority, base, equipment, and seat, are factors (as you certainly know). First two in my list likely most important...
I'd recommend NOT setting your sights on that as a new hire, and therefore, you won't be disappointed if you only get those lines...if you (and your life at home) can't hack that schedule, think twice (ten times, actually) about coming here.
Good luck.
