Nothing is going to be fixed by magic, the real solution is that spending must be equal to or less than revenue collected and we don't need 80,000 pages of tax code to plunder and punish.
Social engineering through plunder does not work and most adults have a strong sense of what has failed and what is actually fair. Most of this can't ever be defended with logic, it is an arbitrary form of punishment with a record of gross mismanagement and zero accountability.
