Okay, your statement might be true in a few years. Right now TPIC is still very much a competitive requirement unless you have connections, diversity, etc.
It depends on where you want to go I guess. FWIW, I was recently hired at Spirit with no TPIC or connections, but I did show up to a job fair, and it made all the difference. Spirit is a perfect fit for me.
The point is...don't sell yourself short.
