Are there any magic numbers for 6 or 12 months time. I just got re-qualified in C17 after several years of staff and can retire next year. I am logging about 10-15 hrs a month. 90 percent of my ocean crossings were before 2004.
Not sure if any magic is involved...mostly just smoke and mirrors. I suggest getting on the schedule more than the 10-15 hrs/month you describe. I've known squadron commanders who flew more than that!
