According to Ryan Gumm, the Pinnacle-Delta alliance is a “new and different approach by a major airline to create a seamless customer experience between mainline and regional service. The level of support from Delta is unprecedented and is providing a platform that we can build upon to grow.”
Gumm’s goal for Pinnacle is to be a world-class regional airline with the best product at the best price. In order to achieve that goal, Pinnacle employees, including the pilots, must own the idea of “one level of customer service” that spans the Delta network.
I'll get right on that as soon as they get on "one level of pay and benefits" for that level of effort. So far they have been going in the wrong direction with that.
