Soooooo.....what you are saying is that instead of pilots being qualified and confident enough to pass an interview Eagle should just dumb it down for them because they are "so desperate".
Remind me never to put my family on any flight flown by a company that practices those "standards".
A person who can't make it through Eagle's interview would never make it through training anyway.
And being close friends with a number of people currently and formerly in the hiring department I have heard stories that would make your toes curl. Including one of a former military pilot who only flew jets with centerline thrust and crashed the Baron sim when they failed the engine on him because he didn't understand asymmetrical thrust.
I'm sure all his "friends" were wondering why Eagle would pass on "such a qualified and skilled pilot".
