It wasn't done on the fly. How it was told to me was this guy originally passed the interview but LH and NA had serious doubts he would be able to fly single engine since all his military time was centerline thrust.
So with approval from NA (yes NA) LH put him back in the sim, set him up configured on the ILS and told him what would be happening.
With NA and others watching LH failed one engine and the plane ended up rolling inverted into the ground.
the scenario is bull shi+. he passed and then they failed him. seems they did not care with the 250 hour wonders they were hiring a few years ago, to the point they changed the training programs to suit the 250 hour wonderers inability to fly and paid for the wonderers
to get advanced sim training before showing up for the sim eval.
oh, by the way how many props does ae have and for that matter how many jets that are not tail mounted engines does ae have? there reasoning was bull, there actions bull, just out to get the applicant. how many other applicants were treated the same way, if they all did not do a engine failure, single engine ils then the applicant was singled out and discriminted.
