And yes people have posted here on APC that they are interviewing on XX date and then entered a discussion about the interview and the company.

Not black helicopter stuff, but rather aviation is a small world and social media makes it even smaller.

But again, no way for a casual researcher to get IP addresses or other information unless you make it visible in your profile.

Also we have had people request that their APC posts be removed after they came under fire from their employers, typically due to a dispute with said employer about pay or Mx.

None of this is speculation, it's all happened.

Other than that, you give good advice.
Good info... I was referring to HR type people. We all know pilots are addicted to these boards!! And a very high chance the pilot interviewer has browsed boards...

Especially when someone posts something about having an interview at company X... The interviewer can simply do a post search, find out that said pilot worked at "regional Y".. Go through that days interviewees and low and behold theres only 1 applicant from "regional Y"... In those cases it becomes very easy to put 2 and 2 together....

I still doubt that the HR lady (who normally handles benefits and just happened to be pulled from desk duty that day) has the time or inclination to read these boards regularly.
