I call bs but for other reasons.
Training records being requested typically mean an applicant is hired or at least very close to it. I just doubt that we have 200 pilots in that process at the carriers that are hiring AND would leave for. I doubt anyone's left for Virgin or Spirit and United is still mostly calling those hired ~2007 but never given a class date. I believe it's been real quiet at Delta as well as Alaska.
I certainly believe 200+ would leave but I don't think its plausible that many found a new home all at once.
