To consider some pi$$ant who'll work for substandard wages and zero benefits a "fellow professional" is ludicrous at best. Every time a pilot signs on with a non-Union carrier that undercuts Union contracts, he PROVES to airline managers that pilots will prostitute themselves for a type rating and some quick PIC time.
No, I think it's YOU who don't have a clue. JetBlue pilots are welcome on my jumpseat anytime, you know why? Because they open their jumpseats to any pilot who wants to ride. THAT is professional courtesy, and besides, we have a reciprocal agreement. I'd be violating that reciprocal agreement if I denied B6 pilots for personal reasons. I'm willing to bet your company has an agreement with them, too.

As far as 'non-union', what does that have to do with anything? And whoever said JetBlue Captains make 'sub-standard' wages? The Airbus Captains I talk to make very good coin.

Instead of berating B6 pilots for being non-union or refusing jumpseats, a real unprofessional response, why don't you try giving them your ALPA business card and encouraging them to join? I'll bet B6 will be a breeding ground for a union eventually, and you could start a grass-roots campaign with any B6 pilot who rides on your flight. That would work better than your 'zero-tolerance' approach.
