Btw, the new software on the maddogs actually helped us increase our block time. Agent was so gung ho we closed the door 10 prior. Ground crew shut all cargo doors 7 prior. We couldn't push till 5 prior but we were told to release brakes 7 prior to move a stuck chock. We were officially out at 7 prior. Of course our latency beacon didn't turn on till 1 prior when we were imminently pushing!!

. I may end up getting paid more with the new acars software.
The "stuck chock" concept is one memo away from never existing again. As soon as the hassle/threat of latency equals or exceeds the hassle/threat for D+ there will be no more "stuck chocks" and if there are they just won't be unstuck until zero latency. This whole thing is about reducing pilot headcount. Period.
