My concern is that if NJA goes tits up and I'm in the AGR position, I wont have any recency.
I went through the exact same thought process. I'd say if the AGR gets you to 20 do it. Otherwise you'd just be spinning wheels, unless you need the income. Work on getting with Majors and then finish your 20.
