That sounds worse than 8 days off a month, 90 minute call out, and unlimited conversion to airport ready reserve where you couldn't even go outside security (haha yeah right) flying 80-100 hours a month.
Maybe "we don't know how good we have it" isn't a valid point. Maybe "it really could be awful" is more appropriate.
My old job had airport reserve too. You had to be in the cockpit within 20 minutes of a call. Reserve here is a cakewalk if you live in base. Commuting to reserves still sucks though.
