I believe the new reg will require you to have the ATP before you can be hired. Will Repub give it to you before the reg goes into effect? I hope not.... The company needs to take care of their pilots compensation and work rules first...

I would recommend going to a 135 outfit and get the rating rather than paying out of pocket.
