The 747 nose door opening is considerably smaller than the main deck dimensions, unlike the AN and the C-5. Lots of vehicles that would fit fine inside can't get through the narrow and low door.
Some very big equipment makes it through the side cargo door, however, and some surprisingly long containers and pallets, too, as well as vehicles.
