Assuming everyone stays to 65 and no growth or shrinkage, today's US new hires will be roughly 90% of the way up the combined AA/US list in 2030. By contrast, today's most junior SW guy will be roughly 55% of the way up his list in the same time.
This industry is a crapshoot, but those numbers do make US look pretty dang attractive. Good luck, all.

I agree that it would be a plausable thing for someone to do. It would be risking something really good for something that could be potentially great. I just doubt anyone is doing that. Most certainally not at the rate of being the main source of Airways interviews. If there's a rush of guys on here telling me they left SWA for Airways, I'll eat my words.
