As a clarification to my last posting, I didn't mean to insinuate that if one didn't have the heavy/int'l experience, that you would get bypass. In fact, my class has a few guys without the heavy/int'l. From what I understand, the goal is to match up the experience, but that's not always feasible. The result of the displacement bid will be out on 03/26, but if you were called for a 04/23 class, the likelihood is that they've already factored in the available slots. As far getting enough time to advise current employer of your resignation, most of us in this latest class had exactly two weeks notice for class.
