When I read the contract 5 months ago I must have missed something. Prior to this contract, an open trip could not be filled for training. It would first have to be assigned to somebody (RES?) and then that person bumped for training.
Can any of you contract Guru's quote the section where we gave that back?
Wow, that seems odd. Normally, Crew Planning will not fill the trip until the day prior just in case the student has an upgrade failure or calls in sick. Last month, I picked up a trip in open time with both the student and instructor listed below as JS1 and JS2. They bumped me off the trip with pay the day prior.
