No, I didn't leave aviation, I'm still very much in it. My first job was like many peoples first job. It was a twenty-some-odd-thousand dollar a year job. There is no reason to make it $15,500 a year so you can pay for a ride to work on your airline. Had it been that way when I started, I can tell you I wouldn't have started.
