When I worked there, I thought this was a class act company until I got that letter ....I'm very disappointed in the greed or lack of compassion the new DO has for the employees!
If this happened to me, I can't imagine the shock and anger that I would experience. My family will say a prayer for you and your family, for the loss of your beloved son. I will also pray for the DO for making this call as he/she will need it as Karma is a beeotch.
When a company makes such a decision, they should own it and be proud of it. Therefore, every Deadheading pilot, jumpseating pilot, deadheading flight attendant, jumpseating flight attendant, gate agent, FBO person, CFI, passerby should hear how Planesense and specifically their DO, treats a pilot while they are down. Eventually this will get to one of the owners, then the CEO, and trickle down to the DO.
This is obtuse and heartless as the NRA robo calls to the families of the Sandy Hook tragedy. Again, our deepest sympathy for your loss. I
WILL tell
EVERYBODY I know in every level of aviation about what happened to you and how poorly you were treated by Planesense. Even if this was just one time, this is too egergious to overlook. If enough dust is stirred up over this, Planesense will never do this again to another pilot. In a few years, they will be begging for pilots who will laugh at a training contract.
With deepest sympathy,
