Unless one desires to become an expat, an FO is still an FO, type or not.
I'd say the quality of training matters most. Done in house vs. farmed out. The experience level of the ground instructors ( time in type) and line instructors is what matters most.
Of course it doesn't matter! JetBlue seems to be doing fine and will be around for a while. It only matters if your airline is going belly up and you are applying for A320 gigs in the Middle East and China, they want a FULL PIC A320 type rating. Other than that, I don't suppose it matters.
