The lawyers have also pinned all your hopes and dreams on the fact that a wide-body is the epitome and envy of the entire industry... even went as far to say that every pilot measures him/herself as how high hey can rise in the ranks and achieve a wide-body captain position. Bwahaha..really??? That's your defense and rationale for expectations???...what about guys like me who could care less about pond flying and want to remain domestic their entire career because of the negative circadian effects of long haul flying? Glad it's based on pay, block hours flown and not how big one's theoretical ego is with representation by the aircraft shell some half hatched opinion of what is defined as having 'made it' in the airlines biz
I assume that's an honest question? The honest answer is that you are free to stay in that domestic environment -- and enjoy the elevated seniority you'll have in that equip (since most pilots in the same seniority range WILL choose to fly international widebody. At UAL we would ALL have the choice.
