Based on what data? there are no numbers that can or will coroborate this. To assume that widebody is some sort of enviable position is very dangerous for your side to pin all it's hopes to, especially when it can be proven very easily, with numbers, that quality of life and pay at CAL were just as if not much better than ual's widebody fleet at the top of the scale...again, this is largely pre-merger and with both companies on their own course correction..Operating under CAL's opspec which the new United will...the widebody flying can be made more profitable and a position to rise to, but on a past efforts comparison, it will show ual bleeding out badly with its head barely above the water line. Its 3 color livery reflected that fact very well pictorially of where its priorities were pre-merger..to grab on to anyone who who have them.
