Regarding S.D.; I was told by a DAL/ALPA pilot who sits on the System Board of Adjustment that S.D. is consistently honest. This pilot stated that the DAL execs/vps would typically lie in DAL's favor and then S.D. would come in to testify and contradict their testimony. If he thought the company had messed up, he'd say just that. This long time System Board of Adjustment volunteer said S.D. was a honest guy and as such his testimony carried weight.

Personally, I think S.D. was selling the TA with what he believed might reasonably occur. He is on record as wanted to hire yesterday. He thinks we are behind in hiring, but bigger guns disagree. Build a thousand bridges...
