Kinshasa, Point Noire, Lagos, Bamako, N'Djamena, Urumqi, and then of course all the various war zones, soon to be war zones, and just finished being war zones. In other words places that suck.

As much I might complain, I prefer that kind of flying to going to DFW, Philly and Atlanta all day, but I am in the minority according to my buddies with whom I stay in touch and drink beer.
Why would Atlas pilots whine about being considered "real pilots?"
I'm going to take a guess that there is a "didn't" missing in that comment since I frequently get asked by new acquaintances if I am a "commercial" pilot or if I fly freight, i.e. a "real pilot" versus a freight dog.
