All Delta did was plant seeds of doubt.
Edit...Also, aren't current Pinnacle FOs *supposed* to be able to apply on their own at present time, but yet get the cold shoulder at job fairs? Doesn't seem things are working as advertised. I guess the not working "as advertised" is a pun given Boomer's post.
Exactly. That was at a very recent job fair, with an interaction with a Delta hiring manager (and pilot?) Mr. Arnie K. Apparently Delta feels all 9E pilots have this SSP agreement and there is no cutting any line, wait your turn. The biggest potential issue is how DALPA feels and how the pilots on the hiring team feel, knowing that this SSP deal was brokered behind their backs, with 9E ALPA and DL management only. This doesn't bode well, and the recent job fair attendance proves it with 9E guys being told to wait their turn and that their union will give them any updates.
You're right...just re-read it. I'm the one who didn't "get it"...sorry shy
That's okay. Now you have to think how many people voted yes out of misinformation (eg, that you can't get hired at Delta once you leave 9E).
