Someone who made a lot of money in the business once told me "the weirder you are, the more money you get paid." That seemed to be the MO in the 80's for sure.
I liked the authenticity of the 1970's and even though it was well before my time, I tuned out from ABBA / Madonna until Dave Matthew Band with the exception of the Red Hots. When your church choir looks like this and Billy Powell's playing piano ... why listen to the crap on the radio?
