Sorry to sidetrack a little bit, and in the interest of not starting a new thread, can anyone help with a 9E jumpseat question.
I need to go from YYZ Toronto to DTW. On the date I'm looking, they are all 9E operated flights. Can I jumpseat? I know sitting in the jumpseat physically isn't allowed, but how can I get a standby/jumpseat listing so I can get a cabin seat?
Any number to call in advance?
Or do I just go the Delta checkin counter? Internationally speaking, my experience at the counters usually hasn't been too great, with agents not knowing what a jumpseat listing is, and the standard response of no one can sit in the flight deck jumpseat.
Anyone know what the tax amount is and where/how I can pay it?
Thanks!!!
I'm sure you just list on it like any other flight. Just go to deltanet and list. My experience overseas is that the counter as been great in helping me identify loads and options (At least in Haiti and DR). From my understanding is you can not flying in the Jumpseat internationally. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. As far as the tax information, call our travel department. If someone answers the phone, they can give you a good idea on the cost of the leg. You can get the number off of our website. Hope this helps!
