Space A Unlimited travel for you, spouse, dependents. Cost depends on distance. About $15.00 DFW-BOS Y class. A little more than double that for F. Y cabin travell fee waived after 5 years service. Parents have a limited number of passes annually. Eight one-ways? Six? After TWO years, you can share your parents' allotment for buddy pass travelers. First come, first boarding priority. Check in online up to 4 hours prior.
Sorry if I got the exact details about Parents' & buddies wrong. I don't remember exactly & don't use them myself.
At PSA (USAirways Exp) it was You, Spouse, dependents, & parents, Unlimited Fee Waived Space A, from day one. (Actually it was more like day nine, but that was just getting everthing loaded in the system.) Six or Eight buddy passes available on day one. Boarding priority was by DOH. Not sure if it has changed to HP's first come, first priority, or vice versa.
JetBlue has unlimited fee waived SpaceA travel for You, Spouse, dependents, and parents, day one. Four one way buddy passes. Buddy passes were fee waived at one time, I think they are now $50? Still much better than any other I'm familiar with. Don't know about boarding priority.
Oh yeah, last I heard B6 also allows fee waived transport of OAL employees' pets; checked or cabin.
Continental has unlimited space A for you, spouse, dependants, parents, after 3 months. Fee is $10 plus security tax, each way, domestic. $35 F cabin. (I think they are limited to 2 passes a month for the 1st 3 mos - J/S doesn't count.) 6 TransAtlantic & 10 domestic r/t buddy passes each year, awarded Jan 1. So if you're hired Jan 2 you wait a year for them; if you're hired Dec 31 you get them instantly. THE VERY BEST NON-REV BENEFIT IN THE INDUSTRY is CO's Vacation Certificate. You get 2 certs each year which you can exchange for a variety of passes. i.e. 1 cert for 2 BusinessFirst TransOceanic fee waived passes. V-passes also move you to the head of the Non-Rev list (by year of hire) So you can bump those DEN dinosaurs!
