I am an RJ CA and am thinking about attending the Aero Crew Solutions job fair in Chicago on May 18. The only companies I am really interested in are US Airways and Spirit. Due to my own stupidity, I missed the last application window for US Airways and don't have an application on file with them yet. Anybody have any idea what that means as far as meeting with them at the job fair? Waist of time? Or can I still get into the pile of interested candidates even if their app window isn't open?
I was also wondering, for those of you who have been to Aero Crew Solutions job fairs, is the career seminar worthwhile? I feel like I have been resting on my laurels for the last few years and have been looking at ways to get jumpstarted. Thoughts?
I would'nt go to the career seminar personally, I would however get there early!, it's a "take a number" system.
I am not sure about what Airways does because at the job fair I went to in ATL they didn't even take resumes. They also use a third party company to select which apps get pulled for interviews, it's an awful system really........
