While you may think you have a handle on gateway travel you are missing the big picture about how we bid and where trips start. The bases for most new (ANC/CVG/HSV) guys/gals have trips that usually start/end in base and none of the WRI flight go to those locations, so you will have to use gateway travel. JFK is a much more sr base and still only has a few WRI lines. I expect those will be reduced as we drawdown in AFG. The big benefit of JFK is very few trips start there so it's usually a commercial somewhere to start the pattern.
Either way, most patterns will begin with a commercial flight or two (nothing direct to HSV)
