Comair had intermix planes for a wihle. It's no big deal. It's a 100 or 200 airframe, with a 200's rudder, and you use 100's engine limitations (860 instead of 874).
Not sure why it'd be a nightmare. You didn't know you were in one until you looked real hard for it.
It's not a mix of airplanes. It's a mix of engines. 1 cf34a and 1 cf34b on the same 200 airframe. Can't use the FMS for any info relating to power or fuel.
