G7 was created as a result of your union trying to play hardball with the company without protection. When TSA offered their pilots the 700 flying, the union didnt think the payrates were fair (valid point), but the union never had the required leverage to counter-offer, because yall's scope allowed the creation of an alter ego. Hulas is a weasel. Weasels do this kind of BS.
There wasnt going to be any negotiation involved anyways, and Hulas knew this.
TSA created G7 because the scope in TSA's pilot contract allowed it. As simple as that.
With that said, I would probably have beef with any pilots that jumped ship at that precise moment. But I sure as hell wouldnt point a finger to a comair guy for making a decision that he thought was best for him. Hell, I never heard any other regional pilot group offering money from their monthly paycheck to pay for those Comair pilot's bills and mortgage.
TBucket, honest question here: I know all this G7 stuff happened before you where even hired, but do you know if any pilot actually jumped ship from TSA to G7 when it was started? No sarcasm here, honest question...
