Nothing trumps preparation and attitude. I came in so wired with flash cards, etc, that I felt totally prepared. Some guys think their resume will carry the day. That's blowing it.
I had the attitude...maybe.
I reviewed the old 2001 gouge, but other than that, the only prep I did was think of "all purpose" stories that exhibited professionalism and decision making in command.
