My guess for why they (Mgt) agreed to separate bid packs is there is No 767 sim yet, and everyone initially will go to Seattle to train and MGt didn't want to send 300 pilots offsite.

My money says: 767 guys will go to 757 school in MEM and get their 757/767 Type using our sims and our instructors. Then...until we get our first 767 SIM, they will go offsite to either SEA or MIA for 767 differences. Whether our guys teach or Boeing instructors do the DIF sim is TBD.
