FedEx had guys go from those SAME airplanes, sit sideways on the 727, THEN go into the MD11 to a window seat. You DO KNOW that the MD11 is highly automated, right?

Don't overestimate yourself, nor all that time you spent in the right seat complaining about being an FO so long, and how "good of a pilot" it made you.

You can either do this job, or you CAN'T. You can either learn/adapt quickly, or you CAN'T. Amazing isn't it Joey?

hey Boss, no reason to get defensive, I have plenty of time in a T-prop and always fealt Turbo-prop guys were better stick & rudder pilots than 500 ATP wonders who went straight to an RJ. My only point was the HR folks at many airlines who are involved with the hiring may still prefer jet time and FMS experience over 1900 time, that's all.
