I took a C-172 from the Phoenix area to Lakeland, FL a few years ago. This was a great, fun, and challenging trip. I would still like to do this type of flying as you're always analyzing the progress of Plan A, ready for plan B, getting ready for Plan C, and thinking of a Plan D. Very good times, just wish I could've done it more than once.
